When I was about 8 years old, my mom took me to the petstore thinking i was going to buy a hermit crab but i saw the bettas while I was there and I knew I wanted one of them. So we bought him a bowl and some food and some marbles. And he lived not too long because I knew nothing about fish. So I decided to wait a while and read up on them before a bought another one. After I knew a little more about fish I bought my second betta. He didn't live too long either because I still didn't know enough. Then my uncle gave me his 20 gallon long aquarium. After learning about Cycling tanks, I got it up and running and put a few zebra danios in it and some cherry barbs and one thing led to another. Now I have three bettas Chai, Amos, and Sebastian and they are all happy and healthy and loved.
